Though an impressive piece of software, it wasn't what I was looking for (or maybe it was and couldn't get it working).
I was looking for something that would name the mp3's I have on my system that have no name - in the old days Windows Media Player would do this.

It's not free. You can only use this for a trial period then you have to pay for it.
I had a quick look at it anyway but didn't think much to it so being as it's a con company I deleted it

It seems to have all the features I would of required, but I was not able to locate the normalization process in the quick look I was doing. I would of come back to it but I found another package to do the jobs I wanted done for free with an upgrade which is around 30 dollars less than your full up package. The only difference I can see between the packages is you have a tag editor, which I already own. Final thought, you lost this sale by being a little harder to use quickly and for cost.

It's nothing wrong with the application. In fact it's really good but it said "License: free" which isn't true.
Half of the functions in the menus require you to purchase the PRO version and there's no way to see which version are free and which are not. Neither is it possible to remove the PRO features from the menus so you constantly receive messages saying that no-no not in the free version. That's not freeware to me. Uninstalling...

Great Program

The only thoughts I have so far, is that it would be nice if it would find the best selection for a single file that may not have an album already tagged. I also find that it gets confused with files that been tagged (Disc 1) or (CD 2) within the album tag and won't find anything. Of course if you figure this out, it's a easy fix It's just the program itself surely can find a way around. I've only had a day with the program, and see many more days to come. I'll be more than glad to point out any other improvements I think it could use.

How to automaticaly create ID3 tag? I allready have mp3 files, but without ID3 tags. Is it possible to download tags automatically, if I know an artist and the album title?
I like the program. Simple and many features.

Faulty normalisation and corruption of file

Hi I installed this program and on the first test I had it normalise one of my mp3 albums and fortunately I had a quick listen to the tracks because the program destroyed the data on one track, replacing it with constant level noise. Fortunately the undo feature returned the track to normal, so I repeatedly tried to normalise the trsck with other options, however each time it became corrupted. As a result I am unable to trust this software and uninstalled it, using another program which normalised the track without any problem

This program is so cool! The autotag is nifty and the lyrics and album info finder works terrifically. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in enhancing and organizing their media library.

Excellent ID3 tag editor for albums covers

I was using other ID3 tag editors but none of them proposed the possibility to include pictures (Album front/back covers, Artist pictures)in the ID3 tags.
Zortam MP3 Media studio is very very useful !

Early review

I liked a lot the interface and the ease of use of Zortam, the only thing is i find it slow to respond with saving ID2 othewise is excellent!

Good and easy.

I was looking for something cheap to batch change my mp3 file properties for my mp3 player. This thing is great, it's gonna save me a bunch of time. I only use it for that, can't review the rest of the program yet. But it's great for what I need it for.

Archive of aprox. 65k titles

Database is not open for multi-user. Errors accured between ID1 and ID2 tags. Organisation is Very Good. The UI is excellent in user dialog but misses some features in data export. No upload to a storage-pool for the files.

Didn`t work

I installed this program twice, but each time when I executed it, it just displayed part of the user interface and then hung up. My system is a normal WinXP installation. So I uninstalled it and moved on to another program.

Good features, but has some drawbacks.

The software has some good features, and does save time with mp3 tagging, for which I wanted it for. I've only got the free version, so I can not get lyrics or album art, but it worked well whilst full features were available. It does a few annoying things however, like when it's minimized, it goes into the notification area and not on the main taskbar. Also it sometimes leaves files on the desktop and in music folders, after it has closed down. It also made one or two errors when doing batch lyric and album art searches for 3 albums that I tried (Wrong lyric to wrong file). Most annoyingly though, it doesn't list the tracks in the right order when track number is selected. It thinks track 2 is higher than track 10 for example. If there is no '0' in front of single digit track numbers, it wont list them correctly. You have to manually correct each tag first, which kind of defeats the object somewhat. For this reason alone I wouldnt upgrade and pay for the full version. I could of course, just need to change one of the option settings for this to work, but I catch on to programs of this kind quite quickly, and cant find how to do it, so either way it's not too good. Despite all this it can still have some uses, and save a little time with tagging.

Not much to say.

Pretty good. Had some trouble doing batch tags with a folder system like ArtistAlbumTrack# - Title. Once I got it figured out though it worked ok.

First impressions of Media Studo Pro

Quick and easy to use. Probably the most comprehensive programme of its type Help FAQs could be better as having to rely on forum is not very satisfactory with respect to fast response for queries. Does not appear to have any mp3 CD burning help. Major use for me is to produce MP3 Cd's with ID3 V2 tags for the car. At present it appears that I have to use Nero to burn the Cd if I want multiple folders on the finished disk rather than just tracks.

Unable to use program

All I got to see of it before it spontaneously combusted, looked like a program that might do what it is purported to do. I get a GPF every single time I tell the program to search for mp3's. The last program that failed this horribly on this system was netscape, which was last installed during the clinton administration.
